Today part 2

More pics as busy week ahead and taking advantage....however taking outfit pictures (star jumper with Tory Burch top) is impossible with a toddler who jumps at me at every opportunity or tries to do something outrageously dangerous while (whilst?!?) I am distracted...hot hot hot today (hurrah) and so cooling down with iced mint-lemon water and watermelon....Meadow tired out  from the heat and took my (Liberty!) eyeblind and said 'night night mummy' CUTENESS!!!

Today

Miss M and I went to Chichester for cupcakes and a whizz around H&M and Topshop :)

WE also stopped for some running and jumping fun (jump Mummy jump) through the graveyard. That's two graveyards in three days. Weird. Who wouldn't want to live on Lion Street? Got a spare £750,000 and you can! Cupcake shared with Miss M (demanding a bite as I snapped a pic) Even picked up a gluten free one for Daddy. I bought the cutest star jumper from New Look, that is a store I generally avoid as it's poor quality and not cheap....but I made an exception. Instagram pic to follow.....

Forgot my camera and trying to adhere to using the Canon not my Iphone, so no pics today. Although to be fair, the Garden Centre was not that exciting, but we did meet Harry and Soph at the park in the morning and missed some cute photo ops with the 2 most gorgeous bubbas on the planet (yes I am biased but it's my blog)

This evening

This week has been a long week...including me shooting along at 94 MPH through a police speed trap. Forgetting my wallet and parking in an outrageously expensive car park before I realised (thank you Bank of Scotland for giving me £50 without my pin!). Work has been full on chaos-organise meetings, cancel meetings, organise meetings, cancel meetings. Meadow ate a Fairy Non Bio washing tablet (emergency room visit)...you get the picture.. So an evening walk in our beautiful village has restored my calm (along with a pedicure:) Here is to a sunny weekend London please

Today

Today! Taking little snapshots of my bedroom in The Old Bake House. Candles are an essential and they have to be diptyque..the one exception is Jo Malone, which was a generous gift from a wedding client. Tidy bedside table, with only The Sartorialist and a candle. Outfit for work today, a Nicole Farhi top and Zara skirt that has a ridiculous split in it that reveals a whole lot of leg :) Lastly, had a quick run through all my baby pics of Miss M and could have posted a million but that would be boring for you...... maybe I'll sneak a sprinkle of them in a few posts....

Today

Today I'd like to be wearing white and cream. But it's raining I'm planning my new kitchen and keep changing my mind I'm waiting for Meadow to wake up! It's 7 and she has nursery at 8. Very unusual she is normally up at 6.30 looking for "ugs" I'm stressing about my gym closing for a month! I'm missing America, ooh I am. Next year! I'm excited to watch The Big Easy Express on iTunes later. I'm not excited about a work telecon I'm running on Edward de bono and tactical plans. I'm thinking of throwing all my 6 hats in the bin :) Xx

Southbank

Southbank in London, near Waterloo is one of my favourite places.
I love sitting in one of their designer chairs, sipping delicious cappacino's and people watching.
Everyone tapping away on their various Apple products. MacBook Air one of choice today.

Now I'm have Meadow, I always look enviously at the women with their Meadow's in tow. And I wonder about them. And think why do they not have to work? Its a pointless thought. But I think it anyway.

I suppose the bigger picture is I have Meadow and I do spent a lot of time with her and so does Rich. But they grow so fast and already my baby is not a baby but a little girl who talks and runs and dances!
I love that girl!

Anyway. Southbank today!

Also put my desk in the bedroom as Rich is back working from home and has my desk space on the upstairs mezzanine. I'm quite enjoying it though my Mac light charger is annoying at night!!

Overwhelmed

Today I feel overwhelmed! Not usual for me but lots going on and feel like I get nothing done and the stuff I do get done is done badly! Bah! Off to BMW to beg them to fit me new brake pads this side of Christmas and then scoot through my boring expenses sheet for my boss. Big meeting in Oxford tomorrow which I could do without. Pic courtesy of Rich, who has joined 100 Layer Cake at LAST, and is of me in bed in LA! I'd like to be there right now. I'd also like the new MacBook Air. Apple. If you are reading this. Please send me one. Then I'd be nice all year to everyone. And stop complaining about being overwhelmed. Thanks x
