Today

It's a today post but I have nothing robust to say. And I cannot face telling you again how busy I am. I'm sick of hearing it:)

Birthday bits and bobs

Meadow's birthday continues with presents still arriving!
I feel so bad that I've hardly spent time with her, as I have been working 12 hour days (the horror) at the moment and am not allowed to take leave, as we have launched a new drug.
She got the CUTEST little apron from Aunt Soph and Harry which I will blog tomorrow,  2 beautiful dresses, one from Tasha and one from Grandad and Sandy, numerous bunnies (her fave, she currently goes to bed with 5 bunnies), some gloriously sparkly shoes from Scotland (thank you, you know who you are) and my Dad thoroughly spoiled her with gifts galore.

Birthday

Today is my baby's birthday!
I had to work all day (YAWN) but we had a little tiny cake celebration when I got back (late)
Meadow was scared of the candle (awww)
Not a long blog post, it's late, I'm tired and bed is beckoning (Yay)
Work is very pressured in the extreme, questioning why I bother and thinking life is too short for all the corporate S*%t. Anyway, bit late for all that so I will leave you with some Mummy and Meadow cake shots....

Sunday afternoon

Today is the day before my baby turns 2! This time 2 years ago I was grumbling a lot and sleeping not at all and generally willing the baby to appear (quickly and magically pain free - neither of which happened!)
Today started with a glass of pink champagne (ok pink sparkling wine)
We spent the day with 3 of our favourite people. We went here and ate lots of this made by the wonderful Mrs Wisdom (due boy No2 in 11 weeks! Yikes)
We came home and Meadow scampered around, jumping on our bed and leaving chaos in her wake as per usual...a tiny shoe here, a discarded sock there, books and toys generally EVERYWHERE...

PS planning my new kitchen and very excited! Quick snap of mine before it goes. Cannot wait to do a before and after. (Not looking forward to seeing my bank account after.)

Hello everyone
I'm here! Lots going on. Most of it very boring. Discussions on AMPA receptors. Yup.
Chelsea Football Club is, well, busy and has a big green pitch. That's it really. Did find a fun pack of gum. It's my motto for the week... Happy Tuesday!

Sunday madness

Today was a challenge from the start. Meadow fell over in to a puddle on our way out and literally was soaked from head to toe. When we eventually got to our destination, it poured with rain and we both got soaked. Meadow refused to go in the shopping cart. Refused to go in her buggy. Refused to wear shoes. So rain, wet child, no socks or shoes.
Then after spending £100 on not much, we headed back to the car, where I made a fateful decision to change Ms nappy on the back seat, she had my car keys, and locked the car. I grabbed them and threw them on the front seat and then took her off the back seat and shut the door. Yip. Car locked, now keys inside car. Oh My GOD.
Cue rain(again) Standing in carpark with half naked child, now no jeans, shoes or socks.
Thank you soooo much to the fantastic Craig from BMW who broke in to my car and got my keys!

Home! Hurrah. No end to bad day! Meadow got her mitts on my camera, and was saying "cheeeese" before tripping and dropping camera. Yup. Broken lens.

Anyway! I'm off to bed before my week long conference!

Not thank god it's Friday around here because we have back to back weddings!
Anyway!
I'm in Chelsea all next week, so blog will be reduced to instagram posts! They should be exciting-ish though :)

Little pic of Miss M standing on my Topshop flats - she is obsessed with the studs! She loves shoes and bags just like mama....and I WISH she could still fit that hat. It was too cute! People thought she was a boy, despite me dressing her in pink, but I loved that tiny hat :)

Today was spent doing expenses, getting my camera gear together and packing for my week away. All dull and time consuming. So off to watch some of this as it makes me laugh and drink some of this
